The Appalachian Institute of Music is excited to announce the 2020 AIM SUMMER MUSIC CAMP that will be held on July 6 – 10, on the University of Pikeville campus! 

The AIM Summer Music Academy is a summer camp designed to provide student musicians, grades 8 through exiting 12th grade, an affordable and quality experience in music. The camp includes group instrument lessons, music theory, choir, wind band, jazz band, and many other learning opportunities. The camp culminates with a concert exemplifying the accomplishments of the week. Many students attend this camp being the only affordable summer music activity in the area, an opportunity to advance individual musical abilities, to meet students beyond their home school who share their musical interests, prepares students for collegiate level music participation, and even has traditionally offered collegiate students an opportunity for teaching experience working along-side many of the great local music educators.
